First Fill-Up (of many)
This is my build on The Unicorn, most of it's already done but I still got a lot to do before I have her where I want her.
Updated picture!

So far the list include:
Engine Bay Stock engine besides the baffle delete. Transmission and transfer case are stock. Not even a single exhaust mod.
Do have a 4 core radiator and a new transmission cooler coming in soon.

Front
Dana 44, Chevy outers, Chromoly inner and outer axle shafts, Warn locking hubs, Ox cable locker.
Big brake kit

Rear
Gm Corporate 14 Bolt, Stock axles, Welded, 5.38 Gears
Big brake kit.

Suspension Front, 12" Fox coilovers. Link Calmini kit. Rear, 63" chevy leaf springs, Zboxes and Revolver shackles.

Skid plates Calmini skid plate and stock gas tank skid till I can make one.

Interior Full clean interior no blemishes at all.

Exterior Custom front bumper with inset winch mount.
Rear bumper is a surprise.

Plans:
New tires and add a spare. (New tires purchased 4/22/13)
Make a spare tire carrier.
Possible exo cage with roll cage inside or just a full roll cage inside.
Upgrade front axle when a good deal comes by to a HP Dana 60.
Possible beadlocks but I don't air down far enough to need them. Not yet atleast.
Repaint the plastics sections and fix the fender whenever I find a wrecked X with the same color. (Took off most plastic and painted fender chalk board)
Get my Annabelle decal made for the windshield when I find the time to cut it. (Got a different sticker made)
Go wheel and have fun. (Haven't done this one enough yet)

That's about it with the build so far. Hoping I can get the build rolling on it soon. Pictures will be up when I get more from a friend. I don't have many pictures because I'm usually inside.
EDIT: Few videos I'm in partially at the local riding park Hardrock in Ocala, FL.

Welcome to the nation

I envy the sas. How much wider is the d60 than the 44?

Actually it's not wider at all. They both came out of an old ford truck so it made it pretty even.

To everyone else thank you for the welcome.
I'll be helping someone on here fab up a bumper similar to mine once I get my own pipe bender. Hopefully around the same time as all this I'll have a skid plate made up for my gas tank and have it raised up some more. Rock's already smashed the front edge.

Dang! Just saw you were in Ormond. My parent live in New Smyrna. I'd be interrested in a front bumper if you start making them... Been looking at having one built just haven't found a place to do it yet. I'm over in Altamonte Springs so not too far from you.

Nice looking rig. How long has it been SAS'd? Did you run in to any initial problems when you did it or have any recurring problems?

I love that color blue on an X. Cannot wait to see more pics. :)

Fabbing up stuff isn't hard just gotta get the right materials and tools. I got everything to make a tubeless bumper except materials.
Got a couple places over here to get metal from. One in Sanford and another in Longwood.

I got one place by me that sells it but you gotta wait a day for the shipment to come in.

@Gorillamel It's been SAS'd for about 5 years now. No recurring problems at all other then I wish the pinion angle was a little bit better, it was set for a small lift but it's been jacked up a little more since it was done. No problems whatsoever other then I wish I had limiting straps. My flex gets too low and is breaking the double cardan pins in the middle of the h section.

This is me doing a little flexing, I actually go up 2 more spaces on the ramp before the front passenger tire came off the ground.

He's the one that actually. Got me to start a build thread. We're in the same FB group called FL 4x4. Giant group of wheelers from FL that go out everyweekend.

Just got the driveshaft done up today and it's going to be welded tomorrow and put in to go wheeling next weekend with our group. Time for it to shine at the new spot we have. Also, to be somewhat not caring and different I've decided to paint my rims 15+ different bright colors.

Going to "Skittle" them? haha Good thing you don't drive highway speeds, cause someone to crash with them getting distracted from the swirl of colors.

Alright so, driveshaft was just welded up last night, tonight it's going in for a small rebuild get the cardan section regreased since everything was perfect. Going to be getting 5 u joints, 3 new for the driveshaft and 2 spares. Going to paint the driveshaft the only color I have, bright green(Yay!!). Buddy can get me a set of 37x13.50r17 Toyo M/T's for $310 a tire, anyone ever use these tires?

I'll be getting them at what the dealer gets them for. $310 a tire after taxes. Buddy's a part's manager and doesn't care about making profit with his buddies since they get so many people coming in. Sucks I gotta trim to fit them though. Oh well, tomorrow after my front driveshaft is put in I'll be taking off the plastic trim pieces.
