Sooooo, This:

Turned into this:

Which turned into this:

That then turned into this little beauty waiting to go in.

Can't wait to go super duper slow.

I figure I better give her a little love after trashing the side of her, now I just need to wreck the rest of the body so I can swap it out for a 4 door frontier cab.

Got the axle under, got panhard and draglink where I want them, now I need to pick up my 1.75" tubing from a buddy's place so I can make the upper link and tie rod. New width is now 83.5" Little wider than I wanted, but, with a 71" wms, it happens.

Nothing I can do to make it narrower besides getting different BS rims, and seeing as how these are brand new custom BS beadlocks that will barely fit my brakes, I'm pretty much screwed on anything else.

Can't you shorten the axle tubes?

So, got some updates, nothing too fancy, but front suspension is done minus coilover mounts and track bar, need to get those tacked into place but it's just been horrible weather to work in. It's sitting right at around the ride height I want with front suspension at fullish bump, the sleeper trailing arms are going to be mostly hidden which will be sweet.

Been a while, figure I would update the few that still use forums. Pretty much done, driveshafts are made, shifter needs to be wired correctly still, front gears need to be done, diffs need to be welded, hydro assist needs to be finished after my parts come in. It's weird having 5 shifters.

The inside is still a wreck since we're building the xterra and a buggy at the same time so it's full of tools that we use often, the 4 link is coming still, I've got pretty much everything to build one, just want to wheel it first, see how it is, then probably build a buggy next. I'd like to sell this thing and get started on a full tube chassis, but it'd cost someone too much to make it worth my time.

Did you ever sell your old d44 cro Molly axle shafts?

I did.

Okay, so, scratch and dent sales are my killer, I ordered up a 1.75"x8"x.75" psc hydro assist ram, probably a bad idea, but what's the worst that could happen? Goal is to have it installed along with my gears and my winch before the 16th of this month, 11 days and counting, still only have half the parts. Let's see how fast I can build.
