So, I havn't got much done lately. Was supposed to be out today but my trailer was lent to a church by my dad not realizing I had a offroad party to go to. So, this has been sitting on my bench for a while. It's all assembled now and waiting for the neon green paint job. I'll also be touching up a bunch of spots on the rock sliders in random black paint I have to keep rusting down to a minimum. I was also thinking, is 2 15" Alpine Type R subwoofers and 2000 watts too much?

Had these sitting around and set them back there to see space.

The flex is unbelievable with the revolvers and z boxes. Only thing holding back the flex in the rear is the 12" shocks. Trying to keep everything I can on the ground as best I can because of the major body roll.

I bet the flex is crazy but id think it would be more stable with just a 6" shackle. Ive never been around revolvers jyst heard horror stories.

I hear horror stories all the time but never had anything bad, longer shackles would kill me. They would rub way too much and kill my departure angle, or whatever angle is there. I rub these quite a bit when i back up in the rocks sometimes. They've got some good surface rust of where they've been hit.

So I went and pulled out an f150 tonight, sad to say it wasn't with my xterra though, wouldn't of had the power. This boy was stuck good, had to use the f250 and at 30 psi of boost and 50 feet of pull room it didn't budge the first few times. But I would like to announce that I will be running at Hardrock cycle park next weekend in the 4x4 section if anyone in florida would like to join up.

Had come carnage today.. I'll get pictures tomorrow when it's light out and you can see the scratches and caved in stock bumper. This bumper day is starting to sound good. Almost rolled it twice, did a wheel stand and I think I messed up my hub it won't stay locked anymore. ): Cable for my locker needs to be replaced or cleaned up really well from rust and then readjusted. Had some good carnage today, wheeled hard and broke stuff. Pictures of everything will be up tomorrow morning or tonight if I can get videos sent to me.

at least it was trail damage, and thus story-telling/more ok kind of damage. As opposed to the grocery store shopping karts type damage. What didja hit?

That looks like some fun wheeling... Wish your Xterra would have been in that video more ;)

I got some more videos of it but we try to stay away from photography during the ride, it turns a 4 hour spot into an 8 hour spot and we hit 2-3 spots a trip.

Wow, that should be called an FJ club, not a Jeep club, haha! Not too many FJs wheel around here (and I'm the only X). Nice to see a diverse group of wheelers.

Actually it's a general group, Florida 4x4. But that was the first time I've been out with those fj's one of them always rode with the blue lj that filmed everything because his engine was blown up from going hard. This was a pretty good trip out, so far it's been the best one I've been on. Sucks I had to break just before we got to the hardest hills there. Tried getting 2 other Xterra's out there but they both were busy. That's what I get for planning a day after the world end trip.

I hear ya, they're planning another trip like this one with a second set of people I was invited to but I'll be out of town. Going to try and get out one of the first 3 weekends in january with my buddy who has a sick jk. Just one of them things where things come up.

It's pretty stable actually, I'd like some stiffer valving up front personally but that will come within the next month after I sell a few things to buy some more shock oil to do them both and rear. I actually was looking today and I have the ability to stretch the rear another inch and half without doing any other mods than getting a longer driveshaft. Redid my diff fluid and fixed my leaky air line to the locker. That blue fj actually broke that winch when he was getting winched down we had to take it apart and fix a gear and lever.

I should be going the 19th if you and anyone else wants to go. I gotta see how things play out I still need a new hub and junkyard in daytona doesn't have the one I need.

Looks like you need a center limit strap to keep the front from unloading like that. The second pic doesnt look to bad other than you need bigger tires :fingersmiley: .

I have some limiting cables being set up. They'll be on before the next trip so I don't go and break another drive front drive shaft.

So I submitted my picture to lifted trucks and it got accepted lol.
