I didn't even notice the legs....interesting catch...young girl or LITTLE woman?
Pink leds huh? Drb we just found you your next mod!
Sent from my brain.
Update to the LED backup light install from yesterday.
Backed out of the garage at 4:30 this am and wow, very bright (30 smd led's) and better than stock (only like $12 shipped).
I already ordered some 68 smd lamps now after seeing how deep backup light housings are and will try those out too.
Oh, and also ordered some complete new LED tail light housings too, damn eBay !
Got pics of that LED backup lights?
Got some accent lighting installed, no pink for me!
3 switches:
just (emphasizing JUST) finished doing rear diff/axle breather extension mod...nice and painless install, even in the 15F windchill
I'd read tons of stories about people having to fight to get the new fitting in, and all kinds of other issues, I got the first thread to bite with my fingertips to make sure it wasn't cross threading, slapped the 12mm deep well socket on it and cranked it all the way down, almost easier than I got the old one out. I also used a bit of forethought when I did it...I laid down some stuff to flex the drivers side of the axle up so that the passenger side would be at least partially flexed downward, so that if I left some slack in the line, I was guaranteed to be safe. I'd go take some pictures for ya'll but, I can't feel my fingers, my face, or my Bravo Alpha Eleven Sierras....one should not decide to mod outside (not in a garage or anything) when the snow is almost falling sideways from the wind...
Got a yellow top optima... For free! I work at an interstate all battery center and every employee gets one free battery per year. I also get all batteries at cost.
Haha that's funny. You guys suck! We get no snow or moisture or anything and we're so close! Well sorta close.
On another note. What does the rear diff breather mod accomplish?
oh if ya'll want a how-to, I'll take good pics this weekend and post it....the whole mod literally took me 20 minutes....
If you'd like to then go for it. I've been doing a lot of reading on it and I think the how to thread would be excellent. The part I'm curious about is a parts list with internet links or parts numbers with store examples. This would be a mod I could easily do this weekend too.
Removed the passenger seat to figure out why in the heck it seemed to be stuck in place [all the levers released, but something was jammed which caused it to not move forward or backward].
Also gave her a quick bath just to shine her back up. Can't wait until spring rolls around. She's going to get the full detail again. Wax and all.
I think I have your answer. I had the same exact problem with my passenger seat, lever seemingly worked and all. While sitting in the seat look closely at the left hinge that holds the back of the seat (where stuff goes if it falls out of your left pant pocket). If you look directly down between the plastic/metal/fabric sandwich there will probably be some type of debris in there. For me it was a quarter, dime and 4 pennies, most of them damaged from trying to force the seat forward or back. They jam the lever that allows the seat to slide on the tracks. If that's not it then the only other thing it can be is the actual lever mechanics not working correctly. Either way, I had to take the seat out to get to the coins. Good Luck!
Oh, I almost forgot, I went and purchased the Lifetime Alignment from Firestone. The mechanic did a wonderful job making sure the alignment was EXACT! He did such a good job I gave him a $20 tip. Gotta love the mechanics who take care of the customer.
Got these. Now just need to install them.
