steeze is a beast
Loved both of his trucks. I preferred the first gen more though. I can't wait to see what happens with this truck. I didn't realize Iguanna chopped the back off his. He shows up to hardrock sometimes.
Xterraminator, check out SASXA's build. He's got a pretty hefty sas build going right now, too. If you're eventually looking to go Iguanna's style of build.
I do have for sale some rear tail lights if anyone needs them.
When I removed the fuel tank I was overwhelmed at how much tubing and electrical wiring with sensors is under the truck just for the fuel system. That all has to be removed and re-used somehow.
I also noticed under the truck some items that not sure what purpose they serve. For example near the mufflers you will see a metal plate with a round rubber disk attached to it?? Purpose??? There are a few of them. I want to get rid of them. If it is not used it gets removed.
Do you still have the tail lights? I need a second set
What gears do you plan on running?
Man, I'm late to the party here! Haha. Looking great man! Can't wait to see where it goes...
I think I'm more intreged by the chop than the SAS haha
For the axles are 3.55. Once everything is done, drive if for a year or so then I will install something bigger when money is available.
With a Dana 30 in the front I believe the highest is 4.88. If that is the case I could use the rear axle and use the following:

Just for clarification:
You can use 5.13s in your D30, but it would require a carrier swap. What did it come from? I'm wondering why you chose the D30 whether it be money, familiarity, or convenience. I ask because the D30 comes as the front axle for a large assortment of Jeeps. I know a lot of Jeep owners like to swap it out.

Came out of a 1987 cherokee. Its a D30, the back is a D35C, 3.55 gears.
The other issue is the stock axle uses 6 bolts the d30 used 5 bolts. Would have to get different wheels for the back. Would be ok, just look funny.
5.38 that would be sweet! Options, options and options. Keeping the stock axle would be nice and would save money. could gear the front to match the stock back.
Please do not feel like other with questions are hating on you.. There is always a new way to think and do.. I think most are wondering why so they can learn

I'm gonna give a reason to throw back to da build.
What is the plan or the rear. I saw you said tube style but are you exoing the entire truck orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr WHA?..
What are you going to do in order to keep the body from warping?
Sent from space and stuff
What are you planning to regear to now?
He's gonna regear the front to match the factory rear 4.6. I saw this in person last weekend, looks like it's gonna turn out sweet. Thanks again for the axle
