Those wheels are sharp man, and nice job on the hood!
Btw I don't think I've mentioned I like the setup with your hi-lift, I wanna do something similar when I get one but on the rear. It's coming along great though, Can't wait to see more. :D

No, because of the added maintenance, weight, lack of DOT certification and money it would cost you. If it was a trailer queen offroad only rig I would say go for it. But, if you not blowing tire beads on a semi frequent basis forget it you don't need it.

For those who wanted to see the hood risers. This is what they look like.

So the headliner was sagging and before I headed out to St. Louis I pulled the headliner out and scraped the foam off with a plastic spoon, yes a plastic spoon.. It was the best thing, I tried all sorts of tools, but the spoon was the best.

Anyway I got it to here before I left

And I decided to move my CB to the ceiling, to get it out of the way and I wanted to be like Mirage.. (kinda). I knew that it would be "heavy" so I added a cheap piece of angled aluminum to the other side of the headliner so I drilled holes in all three piece and ran 1/2" length bolts through and secure the bracket to the angle aluminum

I ran the coax up the B pillar, and across the middle to behind the mirror.

Where I mounted the CB, it stuck down too much in my mirror, so I repulled the headliner and moved it up to right behind the net.

So here it is moved up

I am trying to thing what to do with the wires, might just come up with some simple cover for them.. but they are hard to see unless you are REALLY looking for them.

Final product

I like it and though it reeks of paint I think that it is nice. Riding around without the headliner was too loud for this guy. I thought I would like the rugged torn apart look, but I couldn't get into it.

I plan on doing LED light upgrades and a red LED map light on the front.. Don't know what I want to do just quite yet..
