Gave her a bath today, discovered all the rust that Boones winter has created. Looks like this summer I'll be painting a lot under the X and possibly doing some bedliner on the side. We will see what happens.

I forgot where I saw them, but there's another 1st Gen on here somewhere that has white wheels with a white truck. Not the stock ones, though. They looked pretty killer.

02Xterra, his name is Sean, and they are wagon wheels. Haha, I know who you are talking about. I had white wheels on my previous car, then after they got brake dust on them after 2 weeks I regretted that. Then I sold the car. Not saying that if I paint these white, I am going to sell my truck, but hey, you never know.

Well after approx. 7 months, my plastidip started to peel up. Oh well, time to redo it, I really got used to the look of it and so when I peeled it all the way off (which is awesome, I was purely amazed by it) the truck looks naked. I think it was due to me pressure washing the hood at some point. ADVICE: when applying this, make sure the front edge is super clean and orderly. Thus reducing the potential to create drag, and have the wind peel the plastidip off.

I also installed the IAB that I picked up off of Ricel. Been working recently so hope to have some more money for the X soon

I'm always curious about your goals for this thing. What's next?

Solid axle.

But for real, tires first, then snorkel or the other way around. I'm hoping to start saving for a solid axle swap. I'm planning on by the end of my next set of tires that I have the parts needed to do it.

Also moar lights. I need reverse lights and I want more up front

Hey man build looks good!

How do you like those Hellas?

Thank you sir, I like the hellas however they are pencil beam lights, (spot vs flood) and if I could do it again I would see about getting two floods and two spots. I have been looking at Prime'z X build thread and he just did a conversion on H3 LEDs in his hellas and it makes me wonder how much brighter they will get if I change to incandescent bulbs.

In all honesty, for the price that I paid for them I love them and haven't had any issues with them in the 2 years? 2 and a half years? however long I have had them, I have never had an issue with them.

The lights I have up top are flood style and put out broad light but don't do much for lighting the trail more just the area so I am looking into something like that. May have to copy your 4 in a row look though haha.

Measure, measure and then measure if you put them on the grill, my biggest learning curve was the actual curve of the grill. So the lights don't sit exactly "flat" which you can't really tell but the outside ones kinda lean in. I love the mpgs that I gained back from putting them down on the grill, I was at like 14 and now I'm pushing 17.5ish
