Nice! That makes sense. I just used a fine grit sandpaper to smooth out the area of my bumper before sticking the zombie plow decal on.

Are you going to have it done by friday?

Nope.. Just no time this week..

I did get the cb issue fixed thanks to greentennx's help.. My mic had gone bad.. I figured it was something simple like that.. I also added the gas tank skid this week too.

Rusto id say.. Im not a fan of that chunky look..

Yeah im a fan of the rusto bedliner... Ive used the spray a lot on the X and the roll on for the bug and my trailer. Get it at walmart... it's like $40 right now for a gallon.

Im not so much of a fan of Rusto-spray on.. I have had some flaking issues on my light bars.. But.. I used the roll on..with the White X.. no issues at all with it
Dupla has been the best spray on I have used..

In 2 weeks Ill be able to jump back on this project.. Too many road trips coming up.. Coal Creek this week and Cinci next week..

Dave, Your X is the only one I've seen that has removed the rear bumpettes. Something I've wanted to do for a long time.

My questions:
1- are the side bumper sections besides being welded to the rear bumper welded to the frame near the tire or are they free standing?
2- If they are welded, did you cut a slot for the brace through the panel that hold the vents on the P.S?

The end caps for the rear bumper are just screwed in. 4 in each wheel well and a couple under the tail lamps

The side sections are stamped into the Xterra.. I have seen peoplet hat cut these off..

Nope I havent done anything to the body there.. The bumper protects it pretty good
