I may be coming to you if I need help with a timing belt in a year.
Well Stan is about to get some loving....
Time to fix the P505 IACV.
1. new valve cover gaskets
2. Idle air control valve
3. Knock sensor (I would normally say blaa to this but I picked one up cheap and Ill have the intake off so why not.
This should fix the bleeding of oil from the valve cover on the drivers side..
Then maybe I can get thru emissions testing here and pay a ticket I received last week for Exp tags lol
After all this it will be Timing belt/ Water pump time..
1. Timing belt in hand
2. Need to order everything else..
After this... headers and full exhaust
After this finish the 3" lift..
SAS plans have been killed off since picking up the Gen 2.. Stan will become my sons truck in a year... gobble HELP us!
Is this a body lift??? if so, what all is envolved besides just to body? If not, never mind...lol
I know I'm saying this to the man thats know SOOO much about xterras, but on those valve covers...have you tried tightening them? Also if you have to break them down and replace them totally don't be surprised if the lifters tap the day after. Mine did it terribly bad cause all the oil build up was gone.
Looking good Dave.
Now get the SAS plans ready for your 2nd gen
Thank you sir.... Your Green X has inspired both my builds
