Well as most know, I do not have my Xterra anymore. This is what I have, could not find a Xterra at the time I bought this. It's a 2004 Ford Explorer 4x4 with only 52k miles on it. So far I have put 265/75/16 tires on it, a spacer lift kit and tow hooks. I am building Sliders for it, and some skids. I am also looking at regearing with 4.56 gears and putting in a lock rite locker. Here's some pics of when I got it, and what it looks like now.

That looks sweet sir. You should bring it to the mod day next weekend so we can all check it out. Then bring it to coal creek.

Nice man. My roommate has same exact one. He's been dying to give it an upgrade after parking next to me for the past 6 months. What kit did you go with?

I bought a kit from Truxxx for 2005-10 explorers. I had to open up the holes for the bolts on mine. Tell him he needs to go to this site http://www.btf-fab.com/. The guy makes spacers and also upper control arms for the explorer.

That's a really nice Explorer. My mom had a 2002 (same body style as yours) that I wanted to buy off her when I graduated college, but she wasn't ready to sell, so I bought my SVT Focus instead. I'm glad for it too, because if I'd bought the Explorer, I might not have ever bought my Xterra.

Nice! My parents have the same explorer and I really wouldn't mind owning it because its such a good vehicle. Don't they have advancetrac or something like that, that automatically flexes the axle upon a tire coming of the ground?

My buddy just got his second explorer a few months ago. He had a '97 with 330k miles on it and somehow still sold it for $1,000. They're pretty nice.

I have done a couple more things with the explorer, added a brush guard, and put running boards on for the wife. I went with the brush guard due to no other bumper options for the explorer. I am gettin some 78" rock sliders that I will adapt to the explorer here soon to replace the running boards.
