Check my build thread. I have 2 fogs in my bumper, 4 on my roof (2 floods, 2 spots), and 2 backup lights. My total additional light count is 8. :)

4 on the roof (not wired up yet), 2 headlights and 2 fogs = 8 lights.

But I really have 20 if you count every single light on/in my xterra :)

Um..this many.

Lightsinstalled001.jpg

Eight aftermarket, but technically six additional since the factory bumper had fog lights. I plan to add two on the rear and some underneath for rock lights. I have an LED undercar light kit I might put on. Don't laugh, one of the colors it does is a very bright white that would be good for night runs on the rocks. Plus, I already have them so there's zero cost involved to add them.

Lights first, then huge spoiler, maybe a double stack wing or something, then a full body kit and muffler with six inch outlet relocated to the rear. I'll be getting the bumper powder coated or painted soon and I'll take care of the grill then. I wonder if BFG would make me some 40 series KM2s? Hmm...

I think you need to drop it if you go with that 6" outlet.. so thatway when you hit a speed bump you can "oval" it

Now we're talking! I could start a new trend and be the first one to throw sparks from the sliders crossing speed bumps.

Good news is I think I have enough friends here to stage an intervention or have me committed before I actually did such an unforgivable thing to an Xterra.

And that's only if you're running everything at once, which hopefully you're not doing. On mine I can kill my roof lights and driving lights if I turn up the bass enough... but as long as bumping the tunes hard off road at night it's a non issue. I would assume the same with the winch that you probably won't be utilizing the winch with every light on the X on

...25 upcoming total.

^^^ WOW.

I currently have 18 x 55W lights (that's equivalent to 82.5A in lights alone) and I am afraid my alternator won't be able to handle it (I believe the stock alternator only have 110A?), but obviously we won't use all the lights on at the same time so it's not as much of a worry however I still think it's quite a bit.
I was thinking of throwing on 2 more 100W pencil beam spot lights on the grill, I already made the mounts for it and purchased the lights however I think I will return them because I'm starting to think it's over killed. I only put that much lights on just for fun and looks but there is so much forward lights output right now even without the 4 additional bumper mouth lights I just installed today.
Did you/are you upgrading your alternator?

i dont have any additional inside lighting but on the outside i have the factor headlights and fog lights. In addition to those i have 2 on the front bumper, 1 on each fender (2 total), 4 dual beam forward facing roof lights, 3 work lights on each side of the rack, 2 back up lights, and a grand total of 8 rock lights (2 for each wheel, 1 in front and 1 behind).

currently reworking the wiring on the roof rack with quick disconnects so all i will have is 2 connectors to undo and can take the entire rack off while not in use

You sir just explained the importance of LED lights, without ever saying LED.
