I Smile when Gasoline Can Freeze
Almost home from my trip to Tuktoyaktuk. 3 more hours to go. Trip was good. 1800km of rough dirt road. 2300km of shiaty paved or paved like roads, and 1900km of ok paved roads. Broke the shocks off the trailer and the shock on the ambulance were completely done by the time we crossed into the arctic circle. The weather was not nice when we were at the arctic ocean so didn't get to go paddling. Was still very cool to see and cross this drive off my bucket list. Will be heading that way again to do some of the hikes in Tombs stone provincial Park. Will have the fi al fuel cost total later today.

It's smaller than I thought it'd be. Especially the vents on the back. I was expecting way bigger.

For clarification, this is the fully restored Hero 1 car used in filming 1 and 2. It was found on the Universal lot like 10 years ago rotting away. It was pulled from there, fully restored to BTTF 1 spec and has a perminent home at The Petersen.

Sounds like a epic road trip. Ambulance? converted into a camper? I've been up the Dalton highway in AK to just above the Artic circle but never all the way to the top sadly - it's on my list though

I'm assuming you took the Dempster up there, that sort of vehicle damage doesn't surprise me at all. Tuk was awesome to see, one of these years I might take my wife up that way to visit again.

Wow. What an epic road trip!! I’m completely jealous. I did get to spend a summer in Qikiqtarjuaq a looonnng time ago. Traveled mostly by skidoo and then motorized canoe when the ice broke. Took an epic hike by myself thru Pangnirtung pass and somehow am still on this planet. Inuit people are some of the nicest and toughest people on the planet. Would love to get up that way again someday. Congratulations on completing such an epic journey!
