For a 20' run, and considering the application, it's fine. Are there better options than rg58? Yes. 6" air dielectric has a much lower loss/ft, but impractical given the use case.

But RG-8X is neither significantly more expensive or hard to deal with.

I prefer the Larid NMO mounts with 8x and add my own connectors.

The Blue Angel's were doing there graduation show they put on every year at the Annapolis Naval Academy . Wish I'd done some video , they were so close the pier was shaking . After all the year's I've seen them I still stop and watch !!
