Today we replaced my torsion bars with the Calmini ones. And also went back to stock shackles.

I will say that although I found mannnny how to remove/re-index torsion bars not a single thread/site offered what to do if you run into the issue we did.

We were able to remove the adjuster bolts and get the rear anchor to drop fully. We were also able to get the passenger side t-bar to drop out of the front anchor. The passenger one was another story. We (3 of us) hammered, heated, hit with a screw driver.. you name it we did it. Finally we took out the cross member. Once the cross member was out we still had a huge issue trying to get the darn t-bar to break loose. Finally after about 90 minutes Adam had a brilliant idea. You can follow the pics and see the before and after result.

Believe me I agree as well! They just weren't working with the 3pk aal so I had no choice but to use the AC ones. but I'm enjoying her stance and drive now. :)

Pink stock shackles and pink rad skid. All other skids are black.

As you can see the stance is currently at about an inch difference from front to rear. I'm allowing a few weeks before readjusting the tbars again.

Awesome! Like the detail work with the accents :D
I can't wait to order my shackles and do my PML finally. My truck needs an alignment so bad, but I'm trying to hold off from having it done twice, lol.

Thanks!

I did do the 3pks AAL, I originally had the aftermarket shackles on until they settled, now I'm back rocking the stock shackles.

The T-bars def make a difference. The ride isn't as "bouncy" any more. I need to re-adjust them but my buddies compressor wasn't strong enough to do the passenger side adjuster. Instead of mushing up the bolt I'm going to wait til I'm over someones place that has a stronger compressor.

All in all I am very happy with the current stance. Now if only I can finally decide on where I want to mount my 60' hi-lift. lol

Thankfully XterraMike did the majority of it while i was away on vacation last week. So he got #6 out. I just had to do #3 & 5 and replace the distributor itself.

If I remember correctly they are the 285/75r/16 guard dogs. But my rims also have a backspacing.. not sure what it was though.

Here are the specs on the tires though:
Tread Depth: 19/32”
Meas. Rim Width:8”
Thread Width:9.1”
Rim Width Range:7.5-9”
Max Load: 3,750 lbs
Outer Diameter: 33.2”
Max PSI: 80 psi
Section Width:11.4

SASXA

First Fill-Up (of many)
You shouldn't be running 80 psi though since the max weight is so much. You should be running maybe half that at the most. I know my irok's hold 45 but I run at 23-25 to keep even wear on them. Anything over or below and they wear unevenly.
