Treasure the time that you have with your truck, because you never know when some lowlife piece of crap is going to steal it from you.

Woke up this morning to find my beloved lifted, locked, armored, piece of heven stolen. I can only hope that the popo find her but I dont hold out any real hope for that to happen. I can tell that the person who did it knows what they were doing. They got everything, right down to all of my tools, recovery gear, compressor, cell phone charger. you name it they got it. friggin bastards.

Now I need to find a way to get back and forth to work.

At least I have memories, and pictures of our time together.

Double you tea eff!!!!!!!! Oh someone needs to die. What state? I can't see from my phone. Only positive is that it has to be hard to sell Xterra parts without one of us noticing.

Trust us, we will be on the lookout for it.. Unless they take it to a lowlife junkyard and piece it out through the black market, someone will say "Hey.. wasn't this on granitex's rig?" and then boom. done. popo called, your rig back home, and those motherf*****s will be brought to justice.

Man that sucks, so sorry to hear.
Your truck would be hard to hide or sell they might have taken it for the tools and such or a part they needed, maybe it will be found.
I had a van stolen and found it the next day without its doors. My X was broken into for a tarp once.
I hope you get it back.
You’re sure it wasn’t towed (tickets, etc)?
Where was it parked?

Does anybody in your neighborhood mow the lawn or anything like that? We recently had our shed broken into and lost about $10k in tools, bikes, and misc. We were lucky to find a receipt that the ________ dropped and found out who the guy was. Turns out, he mows the lawns in the neighborhood and he stowed some of our stuff in other people's sheds in the area. We've gotten 90% of it back.

Just laying out a suggestion. This really sucks. I know I'd be more than heartbroken over this.

This is terrible man, I don't know for sure if you are on thenewx, if not, I am pretty active over there and would be happy to help by starting a thread to make people aware of this and get some more eyes out on the road. Let me know.

Edit: Shared ORPP's facebook post as well and asked any friends to share it. Hopefully facebook will use its uncanny ability to send useless videos into viral stardome for a good cause and your trucks picture will reach all the corners.

Bad news, some POS, how did they seal it, do you have any idea, was it towed, hot wired, key? I worry about this happening to my X all the time, if they can get it to Mexico, it's gone forever!

Just skimmed through the craigslist posts there is one granite X without a pic, and there is one that doesn't list a price color or mileage just says you cant miss this and no pic and its like 9k

I would suggest that you guys also search for parts. It would be an incredibly stupid thief (not unheard of) to list the whole vehicle for sale within days of its being stolen. Check CL for the bumpers in particular, but also axles, roof rack, tools, etc.

It is a 2004 granite XE from Columbus Oh. It would be a pretty hard truck to miss if someone tried to use it, or sell it as is.

They had to use a tow truck to drag it away, no glass in the driveway, and I have all of the keys and the alarm was set. They could not have started it because as loud as it is even the neighbors wake up.

As far as I can tell it was someone that does this for a living, so I am not holding out much hope that it will turn up on CL anytime soon. But there is always hope.

You dont think some one repossessed the wrong Xterra do ya? Have you checked the local yards?
I know it sounds crazy.. But that sounds like a Tow company

This could be 50/50 but I would still check. After watching the repo shows they match the vins and not just color make and model. Even if they didn't match the vins I would think with all his mods done they would be like are you sure we have the right car cause this guy sure does put the $ into it?

Anyway that has to suck, sorry to hear this man. List you milage on here too cause thats a common post on ads.

When I repo'd I checked vins on everything. So if it was a wrongful repo you could recoop some money from that.
