Let the Journey Begin!

Hello everyone! I'm a young X owner looking for inspiration for my terribly stock 2003 X. I am a full time student so my mod cash flow is little, to non-existent for the time being..but why not dream a little and get to drool over beautiful rigs while I'm here?? :lolz:
I'm excited to be here!

Welcome to the nation! There are a lot of great mods you can do with limited cash, especially on a first gen. Buy yourself a couple cans of black spray paint and primer, a roll of painters tape and your well on your way to painting something and changing the look of your x. There's the pml and removing things like the stock foot rails and mud flaps.

We also have a section just for ladies so if you're interested in that shoot be a pm and I'll get you the password.

Welcome in. The good news is there's quite a bit you can do to make your Xterra better for little or no money. If you plan to go off road, start by removing the rear sway bar if it hasn't been done already. Then there's the intake resonator delete that is super cheap. You'll also, find threads here on doing a body lift for under $100 if you're looking to add larger tires. There the PML (Poor Man's Lift) to raise your suspension which is also pretty cheap. Come to think of it, I'm starting to wonder why I never did either of those lift options. Anyway, take a look around. A lot of us have a build thread in our signature lines under each post. You can see what we've done and get some ideas of what you can do now and would like to do in the future. Feel free to ask plenty of questions too. We're a helpful, friendly bunch. Last but not least, PICTURES! We love pictures so let us have a look at your ride.

Welcome to the Nation..

Like others have posted.. The Gen 1 (2000-2004) has many things you can do to it for little or no money..
Many time the plastics (Grill) fade pretty badly. These things are easily removed and painted to look new again..

We have a good DIY section on many..

Have fun and welcome into XN
