Did you figure out the nesting software or did you not get any sleep the other night?

I stopped by on your birthday but I think you guys had already left. I didn't notice the grill though. Might have to stop by tomorrow.

And you'd better post a vid of that little blonde of yours skating with the Avs tonight. Wish I could have gone to that!

Holy ****. That is the most unbelievably cool looking thing I've seen in five years of being a part of the Xterra community...

What's really cool about that is that each hole in the middle of the rack is that same size hole that Yakima uses for their racks. Yes, this means that ANY accessory that can be used on a Yakima can be used on his rack. Ski mounts, bike mounts, any rack accessory made (or yet to be imagined) is usable.

Oh he's a thinker all right. And you can order that same size in aluminum tubing, cut to to length. Flat out genius, if you ask me.

So how did she get picked to skate out with those guys?

She is the most mild kid you could come in contact with... until it comes to Hockey.. Playing hockey was something she came up with..we have just supported her passion..

She takes it very serious for a 53lb 10 year old.. The Avs noticed and told her to come skate...

Congrats to your daughter for such an awesome accomplishment! What a great way to encourage her to continue her passion for the sport. :)

Also, I thoroughly enjoy watching the progress of this thread. You mentioned a Gen 2 vs Gen 1 difference in opinion/outlook in a previous post. I truly appreciate that this forum so far, is not the standard cliche of that. And you, Sir, have magnificent skills in thinking of the minute details of your build. Thanks for sharing!

Good for her glad to see she is being rewarded for passion.

You know... there's just something..... something I can't put my finger on. It's not the SAS, I mean really, any monkey can lay a custom width, custom designed, completely badarse SAS under any ol' X, from what I hear. But there's just something about this pic.. near the top.... something about the hood on that 2000 Xterra with the rectangular headlights (completely inferior anyway, as everyone knows that REAL X's have round headlights) that I just can't put my finger on.

Anyone wanna jump in on this? I just can't seem to put my finger on it.

:hihi:

LOL... It is killing Cyclemut knowing tons mods that I am not bringing up. It is like having some dude outside the Ford plant looking for a shot of a new Mustang..

Very true! It's killing me all right! Next thing I know you'll be putting that secret cladding all over it like it's a new Mercedes and pics of it will end up on Car and Driver's website as Nissan testing the new Xterra at high altitude.

Nah, square is better. Notice how the G2 has a square headlight?

Being new to Xterras, I'm looking for it.

hmmm i see it now... that had to be alot of work!
****, at least one person knew right away. Hmmm... still searching.

x2, thats pretty cool
Ok, ok, maybe it's 2000's had the round headlights, and the later years were square... nope, I'm all backwards.

I see it I see it I see it!

/even more impressed
****. Still searching...

My best guess is a hood from a round-eye Xterra was swapped onto his square-eye. Headlight cut-outs then filled. Round-eye hoods seem to bulge more.

The grille is from a frontier and the hood is from a gen 1.5, with the extra hood space for the supercharcher. Also he bondo'd/ welded where they cut for the headlights back to straight. Instead of being a gen 1.25 (CrazySteve911) he is a Gen 1.125.

But an EPIC Gen 1.125.
