OK so this is pretty lame, but we did some testing to see if my rolled fender mod was going to be enough to fit my 33+s into the wheel well without binding in the back...

I promise I will replace with action shots in the near future!

In the front, a crapload. About 2 inches back from the rear of the tire,

Cut a chunk of the frame rail, kinda like a pie slice, and hammered it back, then welded it back together, smoothed the rough edges a little and hit it with bedliner.

plus a section of the front bumper.

In the back, just the fender roll so to the extent it does rub, it's not a big deal. I love the extra inch of backspacing for the stance, the fender roll appears to have eliminated any issues I would have otherwise had with the rubbing. Still needs the trail test though.

(I have not done the BL because my X is at the limit of fitting into the garage. I have to take the ski/board rack off all the time, which is why you don't see any crossbars in the pics...)

A couple others have made it work, but in retrospect, I think if I did it again I'd go with 5" backspacing instead of 4.5" (stock is 5.5). I cut it as close as I could...
