Chixterra's build (Going SAS)
I bought the X in October 2010 from a local dealer. She had 72,XXX miles on her when I brought her home. I started looking around on a couple forums, and then, that's when I got bit by the mod bug. I started talking with a friend of mine about lifts (a Jeep guy), and I placed my order a few months after I had bought the X. I went to his place in April 2011 to work on my lift. Now, I am rolling around on a 3" AC SL, with 32" Cooper ST tires on my Pro Comp 7032 rims. I thought I would be done at this point, but I was mistaken. Currently, I am slowly compiling parts, and working on my two axles for my SAS. I have a matching set of axles out of a 1979 Ford Bronco (high pinion Dana 44 front, and high pinion Ford 9" rear). The going is slow since a lot of the bolts are tough to get out thanks to years of rust.
