So, havent updated this in a while. Figured I'd let everyone in on some things.
So to start in Oct, (if your friends with me on facebook you already know this) I totaled my tow rig. Sucks but thats life. Very grateful to have walked away unscaved. But it put a damper on my SAS funds since the Xterra became a daily again...
So with that the Xterra had to become a daily again. I knew there were issues with the harmonic balancer, but I didnt think it was this bad... It ended up coming out in more than once piece
It also turned out the thing had a dead battery... 6 months with this yellow top.. I took it out and realized I will never buy another yellow top again...
4 auto zones later, they didnt have a replacement yellow top for me, nor could they order one. I eneded up putting a duralast in and got a full refund from them.
With driving the xterra around all of Nov and Dec, I realized how worn my front end is and how bad the thing needs a brake job.
Just as I was thinking I need to put it in the shop, my dad surprised me with another F150 as my bonus.... (of course not the payments though) This time in green
So After that I began to reprioritize what I needed for the SAS. I'm doing ECXC for sure this year and I am trying to work WENT into my schedule this year (fingers crossed) So with that I needed a reliable way to transport the Xterra.
I started looking for a Car trailer to haul this thing.
Last week came accross this jem for $700. Needs tires and some work but over all its solid.
