Ad's on Xterra Nation

Hey guys...
We understand that the way we displayed Sponsor Ads here may have overwhelming to some. We have listened to you guys and have started to move some things around to help keep the forum looking great.
Starting today 365 supporting members should only have one rotating ad at the top of the site and the rest should be at the bottom.

This is still a learning process to us.. So please let us know if you are being flooded with these ads.. Neither XN or the sponsors want to annoy you guys..

It would take a ton of money Members could buy the site if it ever came to that..

You ad's don't bother me, they are useful as they point to actual Xterra vendors, and I've actually used them to visit vendors websites. I also use adblock, and these are not blocked.

The flashing and stuff might be a bit annoying but they are not as bad as most. They are small enough the flashing isn't a big deal.

Not to nitpick on you but I sometimes have OCD. The ad's might look a bit better if you standardize the size and center justify so they flow better on different size monitors.

I also noticed they get blocked on computers with adsense (work) and if you host the images on your xterranation.org domain server, they should get through.

Hope you don't mind me sticking my nose where it doesn't belong.

I do not mind the feed back at all.. Thats what was funny about this.. I was reading on a different Xterra forum that XN ad's drove them crazy..
I set this site up for your guys.. If you think of a idea to make this a special place then please let us know. This really is for the people, By the people as silly as that sounds

Sounds like a good idea you have. The ads have never bothered me here. Like Airmapper said, they're all companies that have things I can actually use. I've used them to easily find what I was looking for a few times myself.

I'm with everyone else. These ads don't bother me at all. They are for companies that actually support the X. It's not like you have an ad for performance chips or Justin Bieber hawking Nooks there.

I'd be interested to know how the ads at the top of a page bother someone whos in a thread... you only see the ads once. Do they mean load times?

The ads are fine by me, but now that I paid, I still see the original block of ads at the top. Yes, I've logged out and back on. Just a heads up, since you did the reformatting for the supporting members.
