What have you done for your X?

Finished electrical installation of my rear passenger USB charging hub! It works like a charm! I still need to mount the hub itself and it will go above the rear console cup holder!

I actually bought the Blue Seas charging port. I thought about going Chinese Special on Amazon, but the BS one is just so clean and should be a reliable product.

Might just give me an excuse to get a small fuse block into the cab. But I’ll probably tie into the 12 cigarette lighter circuit in the center console. Should be enough protection on the factory side. I’ll check my schematic later.

I have a distribution/fuse block in the cab, haha it makes wiring so much quicker & easier but damn was it a pain to install.

I might get a 12v distribution block and mount it under the seat. I’ve already got a 2/0 cable coming inside for my inverter. So getting a hot bus installed won’t be too difficult. And the fewer holes I can drill into my Xterra, the better.

Well the good news is that for what I’m going to do with it, the existing circuit will work. 20 amp fuse on that bad boy. Plenty of capacity for a Nintendo Switch or an iPhone.

Installed a different front camera because the other one was recessed too far back and cut off along the bottom. Of course I broke yet another tab on the emblem, but luckily a guy in Maryland is selling one for $10. I just have to paint it again. And I’ll also be able to tuck the camera a little farther back than this since it wasn’t totally necessary to be this far out.

nice, they look so good. so for the extended travel how much lift is that? what spring rate do you currently have?
They were pretty adamant that I shouldn’t use my spacer and that it would be 2” of lift along with the extended travel. I could dial it up to 3” or add a spacer if I wanted to go above that, but I like where I’m sitting now at 2”.

I had 5100s with ADO medium springs, then added the winch tray bumper and switched to OME 2608 heavy coils, but didn’t like the ride. They suggested 600 based on what I have installed now or 650 if I wanted to remove the front sway bar, which I intend to do.

Can you measure from the top mounting surface to the center of the lower mounting bolt eye please?

Well I'm getting the ECM flashed at the dealer today . It was quite a bit cheaper then I thought it would be [ was quoted around $175 ]
I wonder if they could flash my brain while I'm there ??
Just a thought o_O

I did measure it but didn’t take a pic or write it down and I already got them installed this morning. I did take a comparison pic to the 5100. I’ll see if I can still get a measurement.

After going to the dealer and sitting there for an hour or so the service women :p Called me over and informed me that the ECM wouldn't take the flash/flash didn't change anything what so ever [ how ever you care to word it ] So there 99.9% sure it's been done already or the small chance it's just a POS ECM . So here lie's the problem if your's hasn't been done the last 3 number's on your MAF sensor should be 000 : : : but if your's has been flashed /updated/blah/blah/blah the last 3 number's should be 00A . Why in the world they would have to over complicate/over think/over engineer yata yata.
Why can't they make one to handle both ?? What on earth did they change to make it need a different sensor. WHAT-WHAT-WHAT-WHY-WHY-WHY

So, what happened? You have a 000 version sensor with the updated ECM? Ow it’s just a matter of changing to a 00A sensor?

Befroe and after, will reinstall the roofnest tent in the spring. Just added the Gobi Stealth rack and ladder installation was pretty simple, the hard part removing the old roof rack. Had 12 striped rivnuts to remove, tried cutting and drilling them out. Found out it was easier to pop them through the roof and reinstall larger rivnut in place. Looks good! It’s the roofnest longer than the rack? I wanted the Stealth for the lower profile but got the Ranger since the front bar isn’t taller than the crossbars.

Lemme know how that goes. Have contemplated the same.
Well, Was At Costco walked past the wipers.. Grabbed a 22" Wiper. Might has well Test it out, winter is not over yet!!.

Fits.. no issues.. Only slight bump might be the slight Roll of windshield, might leave small edge? Dunno... Need rain to test Fully.;

Passenger side Edge. ( was 21" wiper on that side)
