You'll never know true sadness until you see amazon at your intersection then pass by on the way back to the warehouse.....i live very close to one and see their vans all the time but this one was coming from the direction they normally do when they turn into my neighborhood

We ran into a tree over the trail a few weeks ago on a ride. No one had a power saw.

That got me to thinking about getting a Milwaukee cordless saw that uses the M18 batteries my drill/driver does.

Then I got to looking for a trimmer to go with it but the Milwaukee uses a proprietary attachment system so my current hedge trimmer, pole saw and edger attachments wouldn't work with it.

I'm a little ticked off about this.... Kobalt's 24V trimmer doesn't take attachments, DeWalt's doesn't either. It doesn't look like anyone makes a battery trimmer that shares batteries with a drill/driver/circular saw/recip saw AND takes universal attachments.....

I have a 80s McCulloch Pro Mac 610 with 20" bar and Stihl chain. It runs a little slower than a big Stihl but it'll tear out chips as long as your finger with a full bar load and never stall out...

I'm wanting something for the back of the X on the trail and for quick trim up jobs around the house where mixing fuel isn't an issue.

I picked up a electric plug in chainsaw. for a quick prune job.. thing works slick. only bad part, did not like to be Lawn dart from 15 feet height. OOP's.

Everything is going electric.. for Push button use. Dang they are costly beasts!!

not sure what you’re talking about. The Milwaukee cordless chain saw takes the same batteries as everything else. You can get the 12 ah battery for it. Same with the string trimmer.

But the string trimmer takes proprietary attachments like pole saw and edger where the Ryobi uses the universal stuff I already have from my old gas trimmer.

And the Kobalt trimmer that uses the same batteries as their drill won't take attachments at all. The same with Dewalt.

The Ryobi trimmer uses the same batteries as their drill/ driver/ circ saw/sawzall/impact/ect AND will accept universal attachments like my pole saw and edger.

I have the dewalt 20v chainsaw. Its only a 12" bar but thats big enough for most stuff around the house and the battery lasts longerthan a tree. They make 60v 16" buy i didnt want to get into another battery setup.

I took a promotion at work the other day and now I'm bored all the time. They promoted me, but don't have much for me to do. I don't even have logins for the computer and accounting/inventory software we use. I'm a glorified intern.

It totally was. But that show is worth a re-watch every few years. Brilliant show that ended wonderfully in 8 seasons.
Also, there's a Scrubs podcast with Zach Braff and Donald Faison. Fake Doctors, Real Friends. They're doing an episode by episode recap/bullshiatting session. They even said "they're will be plenty of jokes about season 9"

ahh, I misread. Thought you were thinking the Milwaukee trimmer and saw took different batteries than the rest of the Milwaukee stuff.

I'm looking to buy into a full system but I already have attachments. No sense in losing a bunch of money on them.

Gonna inventory this evening and start advertising my stuff I think.

Got some Milwaukee and Hitachi battery tools and then some 120V stuff to unload as well.
