Did sleep in a Hammock strung up on some metal poles. Out in the Desert. 2AM rolls around, Filtered beer must be let go.. Shift in hammock.. what do I hear below me.. a Dang Stink-in buzz tail.. Grrrrrrrrr. NO flashlight, pistol is hanging under Pillow.. Can't see cant shoot..
Tiss good to be MAN!!!. aim was true and No wet Hammock!!!. Next night, I slept with Flashlight and pistol!!. And that is reason We sleep in hammocks!!.. NO Dirt napping!!.
Now, I have a 5 foot PVC Relief tube Never leave the hammock!! Dang Buzz tails.

Buzz tails are grumpy 24/7. If I can reach, would do it.. Bad enough dumping out boots, making sure nothing crawled inside again.. One must be creative in snake infested camps. I will only dispatch one, if unable to Relocate. OR gets near the cooler & cook stove..

I have this one. Is cheap, but some mods make it decent.
Got some bubble wrap insulation to wrap the outside. Some fire rope to seal the door.
Get a charcoal smoker this is the one I want. In my opinion your get a better smoke flavor out of the charcoal smokers.
