Since I was a kid all my dogs have been rescues. I'll never partake in puppy sale bullshiat. 10k for a dog is just asinine.

They gave the daughter a time and date to empty out whatever is left in their on-campus apartment at UMBC 2 week's ago .What suck's at home is as she's doing the on-line classes is , NO GUITAR PLAYING, NO LOUD MUSIC and when taking exam's STAY THE UFCK OFF THE INTERNET. I might have to go outside to SNEEZE or FART just haven't herd anything about that yet !!

Oh, here's the pups. Insane! Literally, the rescues are empty. Craigslist ads for older dogs and pups for rehome are gone in an hour tops. It's nuts. Never seen anything like it before. I am a huge fan of the mixed breeds for human society or Petfinder. But, literally all of them that aren't "special needs" are gone. People on Craigslist are literally re-homing 2 year old dogs for 1k. Selling mixed breed pups for 1k. No joke. I assume it's because everyone wants a dog since they are home now. Bad timing for us. I am sure the prices and available will change drastically when everybody goes back to work. It's just mind blowing.

This kind of garbage irritates me to no end. How many of these people that are grabbing dogs now going to actually want to keep them when this is all over? Or is the pet just a temporary comfort, only to be tossed aside when no longer needed. These animals have emotions, and form bonds just as much as we do.

Couldn't agree more. At least 3 months anyways. But we were looking, cause sometimes it takes awhile. We were just plan shocked to see what we are finding. We rather be a part of the solution in a few months, than the problem now.
You could get tubi also it's free kind of like Netflix but they have a bunch of older stuff on it.

.............I just looked around at rescue's and there all $ 250-350 puppy's to old dog's around here .....GO TO A RESCUE they need it more .

The price of all dogs have went up. You use to be able to pick up an akc registered boxer for $500 to $600 all day long and when we were looking last year they were going for $1,000 to $1200. I didn't need a damn piece of paper so we found an unregistered pup for $600. The best way to find a pup for a reasonable price is to ask around locally. On the Covid-19 side of the new's , locally they just listed this area as a hot spot/getting ready to peak ?? Anyway the local Giant supermarket yesterday started limiting the amount of people in the store at one time , and to have less people being within 6ft of each other all the shopping aisles are now ONE WAY ONLY Apparently you can be asked to leave without ur good's for not following the rule's or be escorted out. Think they would have come up with that a month or so ago........

On the Xterra side of thing's , I'm planning on keeping Odo X the way it is ; BALD . I've put all stainless bolt's back in the nutsert's and put 3 coat's on 2n1 Rustoleum Bright white on the head's . I also filled the crack's running down each side of those channel's up on the roof. Simonized the yellowed area's where the rail base's sat for 15 year's , the paint turned cream colored underneath .I also weighed the roof stuff on an unaccurate house scale and came up with 46lb's [ rail's/crossmember's/wind deflector and drawer] of less weight !! I can't really update mileage as mostly local driving now and that's for the other thread.

The Egyptian's used to preserve/cure their dead in salt, I want my body to be cured in a vat of OLD BAY SEASONING for at least a week, then when they cremate me the whole neighborhood will think someone's steaming crab's ; and un-be-knownst to them there mouth's will be watering for me LOL

That's the problem. If it's not thenews on the big screen/antenna, then it's my phone. When I cut cable I was really cutting internet. They were closing in on $100/mo for internet and basic cable came with it. I was either at work on wifi or home and really only watched the news. I have a laptop and desktop but did most my surfing on my phone anyway so I cut it all knowing I could get news by antenna. Now antenna tv just sux ass and news is pfft~
I need a way to send the phone signal to my TV. It's smart but needs apps. The cast feature worked until the app I was using stopped working so now I end up watching on my phone.. ideas?
