I wish this idiot would just shut the ufck up. He is not doing any good but ensighting panic buying. Our local grocery store is selling out of everything because of the ufcking idiot's. I'm going to have to get a few more bricks of 22lr ammo (if I can find some) because we are about to be eating groundhog.

If this happens he obviously has no ufcking clue the repercussions of this. Mass hysteria, food shortages, food hoarding, fighting in stores, etc.
Agree the grocery store in the village I live in also serves two other villages that are close by. So we have a finite amount of resources for a lot of people. People has already been panic buying and the store is almost sold out of everything but fresh produce. The meat coolers are sold out of almost all meats besides steaks and that is because people can't afford $35 for 3 steaks.

I have 170 rounds of .224/5.56, 300 9mm, a brick and a quarter of 22lr, 5 boxes of 12ga heavy loads, 2 boxes of 12ga bird shot, 4 boxes of 12ga deer slugs.

I really thought I had more 22lr will probably order a couple bricks tonight. I have been slacking on keeping ammo supplies up. I almost bought reloading dies bullets and brass for 9mm yesterday.

Lube. Then lube it again. Keep a rag and spray lube on the range. Buy CCI mini mags or +'s or high end high velocity rounds. The slide is really light but with how dirty the nature of 22's are it has a hard time cycling ammo, especially if shooting rapidly or after a bunch of rounds. Any auto 22 is going to be that way for the most part.

If you can find one for about the same $$ I would recommend All. Day. Long. The Walther P22. This one has the raised sights on it set up for running with a can and also comes with a compensator and longer barrel. Not needed but more to play with.. 20200315_180028.jpg

One of our major customers get motors built overseas so they are not able to produce their pumps. We may just end up laying people off due to not having any work. This customer makes up at least 70% of all the work we have in the shop.

That really sucks!

A lot of our paper is used in Asia for various things and between the virus and issues with recent upgrades to our #1 Paper Machine causing major issues with productions and us losing those orders, we're looking at 5 day long shut downs for each machine EVERY month until July at least.

Production guys are concerned and management is slashing OT and spending, even on maintenance which is crazy because week long shutdowns are the PERFECT time to take care of the lack of maintenance we've been allowed to do for the last 5 years. We've had serious issues with penny pinching micro managing twats mill managers preventing us from doing serious maintenance work so their bottom like still looks OK when they retire and the mill is in shambles...

We had to justify spending $20k on a 16" butterfly valve that has spent 25 years going from fully open to fully closed every 20 minutes. The bearings were dead, the links were shot and the piston was gouging the cylinder wall to the point we were changing positioners every 2 months because the aluminum build up in it would kill the valving and the rough spots in the cylinder was chewing the o-rings out of it. We finally got approval after another issue with the equipment it is on caused a 3 day long full mill shut down that cost millions in production and my engineer sat down in a meeting, looked at the mill manager and said "the lead time on the valve that will do the same thing and we've been asking for is 2 months....." They ordered the valve that evening.

Is it time to panic? No.

This document is trying to help you to understand the situation at hand and not to terrify you. We want to make sure you understand the facts and understand what is at stake. This is a Pearl Harbor moment for our country. We are facing a real threat, and we need to face it with all of our resources. When people decry the seriousness of this moment they are steering our country off a cliff, we need everyone to understand that this is important and if we work together to slow the spread, we will get through this as we are learning from Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, and China.

That's a good read and I think more people need to read it to understand the situation at hand. Lots of good, plain language information in it.

Can't wait for my CAO pipe tobacco to arrive. Their cigars are good. Figure their pipe tobacco to be just as good if not better. Puffing on captain black cherry blend. Not that great.

You do know you can order whole tobacco leave and shredders on line. They are generally dried and cured.
