Thinking about making me a "solar generator" like those expensive goal zero setups.....but for way cheaper. I have some panels and 1 battery right now. Just need a portable box and some accessories. I think i can have a basic setup for around $275 total and might add a 2nd battery for an additional $60.

Im comfortable with wiring and everything so this will be a good side project that can be used for power outages and camping. Basically i just want to have light for awhile and be able to charge batteries. I'll have enough capacity to do that for a few days without good sun to recharge.
A Goal Zero 400 with a 20W solar panel is $600 on amazon. It gives you 400Wh......my setup if i use 2 of the batteries i want then I'll have 700Wh and 100W solar panels with an end cost of around $350 plus a pure sine wave inverter which depending on what size that is will probably be close to $150 i guesstimate. And you can add more batteries for $60 for each extra 350Wh.
I'm not looking to run a fridge or ac so I'll keep it lower and use mostly 12v accessories to limit the need for an inverter.

I can have 1Gbps/40Mbps from Comcast. At over $250/mo. I definitely miss Verizon on that front. My CenturyLink bill is only $60.
