For a cheap ride, try a used corolla. Last forever, dirt cheap on gas. Had one as my toy till a 17 year old totaled it.

Edit: a used first gen X ain't bad. Can get one for a few thousand. They suck a lot of gas though for a 3.3 L

With the move to Colorado this year, wife needs at least AWD. The Rogue hybrid is getting 33hwy. That's more than double what her Pathy is getting.

But the pathfinder gives her a higher coolnes rankings. The coolest this about the rogue was the rogue one commercial.

We've had a Rogue for a few years. Works pretty well as a family vehicle. Mrs liked it for a while (I have it now). She swapped to a van for rear vents and in car entertainment. And for moar space since she thought she wanted to go full on soccer-mom mode.

Tow rig is important, but not for a daily. When the X is paid for, I plan on getting a pickup as a tow vehicle. Because everybody needs a pickup truck at some point.

I'm thinking I may get a pickup that doubles as a tow pig. My commute is only 4 miles one way currently.

my wife is starting to talk more about getting a mini van. Her Escape is not big enough for the 3 car seats and the X is a bit awkward to get all 3 kids in their seats as well. specially when you have these ass hats that don't know how to park leave you about 6 inches to open your doors and buckle in 3 kids in Car seats
