If you can weld you can probably cut the cans and use them to fix that gap.

Need to install my hep molle panels. I remember seeing a thread on one of the sites about someone changing out the hardware so that there was a nut outside of the plastics for easy removal of the panel when adding/removing stuff. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

i just used self tappers. granted the Gen 1 molles install a little differently on the back windows if those are the ones you are talking about.

Here's what I did with mine. Don't remember if I bought the bolts/wing nuts or they came with. Either way, bolt from back, nut, panel then wing nut.
