Wife has been talking about a more fuel efficient vehicle this coming year. I agree. Looking at an AWD Rouge Hybrid. Need to demo one and see if it works with the kids.

Some years back I did the math and figured out what the break even was on buying a prius versus buying the roughly comparable corolla. Turned out I'd have to put 100,000 miles on the prius before I'd break even.

Fuel mileage is vastly overrated.

Yeah. But in the immediate, if the monthly goes down and the mileage more than doubles, that's a win.
