Apparently I am not allowed to have dome lights in the truck. Keeps blowing the fuse. And I can't fathom why. It used to last like a month and then the fuse would blow. But now it's instant. Whenever I put a new fuse in it pops. FUN!
On the serious side, disconnect all the plugs at the dome lights. Put in a fuse, did it blow? If so you have a short in the wiring someplace. If it didn't blow, connect one dome light. Did the fuse blow? if not that light fixture is good. Repeat with the other lights, one of the light fixtures may be the problem if the fuse blows when the fixture is reconnected.

I had a problem with the rear window defroster and it was a bear finding out that one of the lugs was shorting out to the body. *UGH*

Yeah. I started that process with the bulbs. But will probably move to the fixtures next. The problem is that my overhead console is screwed to the ceiling through the sunglass holder because i made it much bigger than factory with the overhead switches. So I need to explore all of that too.
