So. I just found out that Steevo at RuggedRocks has a 5.89 gear set for the H233B. And you can get a matching 5.89 set for a low pinion D44. Which means you can build a 1st Gen. With 35s. SAS. 5.89 axles. 3.8 crawler gears in the TX10. With a manual which has a 4.06 1st gear. Gives you a crawl ratio over 80:1.

This makes a Titan Swap look like a ufcking go-cart.

A D44 pinion with 4.56 gears is puny. I'm not sure how much abuse that 5.89 gear set would take. Granted, the VG33 isn't a power house but still.

5:13's in diffs, locked both ends, manual transmission, crawler case and 36's. Much fun off road. Crawl everything and can drive hwy while pulling off road trailer with rtt

You have to pull the front diff to make it reasonable. It's a lot. I just bought OE. I thought about attempting to get some from Greg. But I actually wanted them to arrive.
