Sweet...post pics or ban.
Just did the recovery point install last night. Took me about 5 hours between cutting the bumper and repainting it (was originally silver, I made it black). Nonetheless it was fun and a learning experience, gotta thank you for sparking that interest in installing them. Now I have to find 3/4 inch black shackles.
This was more difficult than I can describe, but the switches work lol
I did the same for my overhead lights. But I crammed one full size Carling switch up there and ran all the wires down the A-pillar.
Damn dude I wish I could get mine to be that clean!!! Every time I dust it off and spray it down, in a couple days it's dusty as hell again! I'd pay WHATEVER it takes for you to clean my engine area lol fricken too much mud and dirt caked into it
Thanks Shiz! Well, I don't live in a city. I live in a small town and drive to work on a highway that tends to get some windy causing sand to sometimes kick up a lot. But not even that. It just never tends to keep dust out. It's always on there. Whether it's on the steering wheel base, or on the dash or just on the components i.e. cd player, area where the 4wd stick is and just anywhere really. It's tough as hell to keep it somewhat clean from dust and looking nice. I think it might be the environment of where I live but I do wish there was something I can do to stop seeing dust and dirt everywhere I look
I do off road every once and a while but not enough to have me go, ehh, it's not worth cleaning it because I'm going soon anyways.
