Awesome shots. I'm shocked that lower plastic piece below the bumper hasn't been ripped off yet.

Hate we couldn't tag along, but I did hear good things about Mammoth Cave. It'll be one to look into down the road.

That plastic "skid plate" has held up supremely well despite shenanigans.

And no worries....it would have been cool with a few others but it was even better just Brook and I (and Jawid lol). As we rolled in to Turkey Bay, there were a bunch of the typical lot signing up (we had signed up the night before) and we just drove on through as the US Forest dudes just waved us through, the Wrangler gaggle just stared and gawked as one sole XTerra rolled right on in the ***** lol......it was awesome.

We encountered a decent amount of side-by-sides, bikes, and a few OHVs, all were cool. Lots of stares lol.

And today as I was driving around in Clarksville, more stares lol

I envy your load setup. I picked up some strong netting in massive bulk the other day and I plan to see what I can make with it. It'll be my weekend project for the next few.

Shane...Ditch that sway-bar! I didn't realize you still had it. 4 bolts and that sucker is off.

So I sat in my truck for a good 30 minutes and hunted for a good mount position for my new CB...this is the absolute best spot I could find lol. Its actually pretty convenient there. Only downside is I have to be careful getting in and out of the truck.

Glad to see you here, Shane. Also a prior service member. Glad to see Vets here.

Additionally, I'm in Lexington KY, about 3.5 hours away, and have always wanted to go to LBL. We should meet up sometime.

Thank you, sir. Likewise :)

I wish I was close to Lexington, KY, my absolute favorite town in the USA. But I'm now in Alexandria, Virginia. There is a possibility of attending an LBL meet in the summer of 2016. I'll have to let you know if this is a thing.

That's really cool to hear that from a person I've never met before! Lived here a long time.

If you do decide, maybe you can roll through Lex, and then convoy to LBL.

So, there was a unimog there and you only post one shot with it, and it's way in the background? Not cool, bro.

Otherwise, nice pics, thanks for sharing!

Well worth it.....Check out Reddish Hollow for camping right by the lake. Wheeling is done at Turkey Bay...dont wheel alone if you leave the Yellow Trails haha. Some of the Red Diamond trails turn into Blues so be careful there.
