Huhwut?when are you going to head up to Fort Collins to get a cb installed?
I keep trying to get my buddy's up here to install CB radios for trail use.Huhwut?
I have a CB. A damn good one if I do say so myself.I keep trying to get my buddy's up here to install CB radios for trail use.
At some point today, my drivers rear wheel bearing decided to give me a big hard dickin.
Bearing is shot, bad. Took out the axle seal, causing the axle to ride crooked. So. Brakes are toast, ABS ring is ruined.

Se the metal filing cotton ball? That's the abs sensor.
ufck.
Duuuuudddee. ufck shiat balls.So. Got the axle out. It's bad. Real bad. There's metal in the entire axle tube. I now have to pull the other side and the diff cover so I can clean it out and cross every part of my body that the gears and locker are OK.
That's the damn truth.Glad to see things are coming along without any major suprises. I'm sure you're happy this happened close to home and not, you know...... Out in Moab.
It's fine. It's a two piece design so it just separated the two pieces. I fixed it that night.
Haha. Yep. That corner is still ufcked up. I haven't been able to find a replacement corner piece yet. They're like made of gold or some shiat.Hey! I didn't realize that was you that we took the rear tire off of. Have you repaired the back up light in the rear fender? Or was that someone else
Well, that's lameDepending where you live in Colorado, RockAuto can't/won't deliver here anymore due to the new local sales tax law that went into effect June 1st.
Hrmm..... I don't think I've had that problem.Depending where you live in Colorado, RockAuto can't/won't deliver here anymore due to the new local sales tax law that went into effect June 1st.

Yes. Unincorporated Douglas CountyInteresting - are you in an unincorporated area?
Curious what you come up with. I've never like any of the options for the 2nd gen as far as metal corners.I'm getting ready to make some steel ones for mine since one of mine was taken off by a hit and run and has never sat right since.
What dont you like about them? Mine is a 1st gen but the 2nd gen should be easier since it has the mounting point for the step.Curious what you come up with. I've never like any of the options for the 2nd gen as far as metal corners.

The ones I've seen are always two boxy. They don't fit the lines of the truck very well. What dont you like about them? Mine is a 1st gen but the 2nd gen should be easier since it has the mounting point for the step.
Yeah. That's another thing. The plastic is soft. Not to mention that one good hit and they'll crumple the body
I will be bolting mine to the bumper with enough gap to take a hit and then I will tie it in to the frame as wellYeah. That's another thing. The plastic is soft.
