U.S. House Of Representatives’ Stop Online Piracy Act
U.S. Senate’s Protect IP Act
Today many sites are going dark to protest the PIPA/SOPA legislation that gives the US Goverment the power to control what it's citizens can and cannot view on the internet, on top of that, they do it without due process. Many sites today, including (Click any site to view their protest page) Wikipedia, Craigslist, Google, Reddit, WordPress, TwitPic, Cheezburger, BoingBoing and Mozilla are getting involved in either completely blacking out their site or censoring their logo or even content. The Bills will make it so that the Motion Picture Association of America tells the government what sites are infringing or not. We can always trust the government to have our best interest in mind, Obamacare was good right? Here is a video that explains the situation better:

I just ask that if you enjoy surfing the internet as it is, please visit one of the above sites to educate yourself about these bills. If you haven't already, please contact your Congressmen and Representatives to urge them to vote NO!
