My trucks headliner is sagging something fierce. I found a friend of a friend that is willing to charge me $40 to do the headiner and an additional $75 to do all the door panels, if i wished to do them. I just need to provide the fabric of my choice.

I want to see what ya'll think and help me choose my headliner!

Let the voting begin! :hihi:

It was between the first and the last one for me, but ultimately I had to go with the first one. I like the mostly black with just a touch of pink compared to the others, which seem like they'd overwhelm.

Same for me, I like the pink plaid. The material should stretch/lay pretty well, not show any spotting if the glue soaks through, and not be so busy. I don't have a problem with my urban digital camo fabric (extremely busy) while driving, but a few of my friends when riding if they focus on it get a bit woozy.

I'm going to have to agree with the rest... The first one gets my vote. The others were a bit busy for me. The first one looks to be easier on the eyes as well.

Nice got any pictures?

Thats a good price also, I paid $125 taking my headliner up to the shop with the fabric, but he also recovered the visors.

My trucks red, so its a red urban scheme. The camera didn't focus to well on the first shot, so the second is to show the pattern. There are some faint yellow spots that show through some of the white sections where the glue bled through, but I dare you to find them

I love it though i'm not sure what its supposed to camouflage besides possibly winter 1942 bombed out Stalingrad ;) I have gotten crazy attention from it, the guy helping me load the infiniti v8 in the back called over the entire junkyard staff to check it out.

I'll say +1 on fashionfabricsclub.com as well, I have ordered from them a few times, always been cheap and fast.

I like seeing off the wall headliners, a friend wants to do a regular tartan plaid in his 240. I hate foam backed headliner material, junk always lets go when the foam deteriorates. Make sure your friend is using a good glue, most of the off the shelf ones are iffy on long term holding power.

Beware of white. If you smoke, it will turn yellow. Sun, even when not directly hitting the white, will turn it yellow.

You could possibly see the glue through the white.

Well I am not going to go for an all white.. but I am wondering what I could go with.

And I don't smoke in my car.. so I don't think that would be a problem.

Mirage, How many yards of fabric do you need? I've wanted to redo my headliner for a while now.

I ordered 4 yards on a 60" wide bolt (make sure what you order is wide enough! Or else you will have to join 2 pieces and have seam somewhere), I have got a good bit left still. If I remember right when I measured it out 3 yards would do the job, but i'd double check before taking my word.

1 is good but I don't think it fits the rugged xterra
2 belongs in a chicks limo
3 makes me dizzy also and is way to busy
4 got my vote, its got the look I like and that rugged off road sorta fade to it?

I went with No. 4, too - kinda the Girly Lumberjack look. And Mirage - that's freaking COOL!! I hadn't caught a pic before of what you did there. Now I have yet one more X project to ponder....

Thanks for everyones votes! I can't wait to get around to having this done! I think I may splurge and get the door panels done as well. I'm thinking of painting all my plastics (trim, door, etc..) black as well.

haha! I know. This project is getting delayed. Upgrading my UCA's and Steering first. That and in the process of looking for a new house so lots of packing and moving stuff.. stuff that doesn't fit in a Lexus, which is the boyfriends car. The X can't be down for a day or two at the moment lol.
