Here's a thread about how I painted my seats.
I used the Duplicolor Vinyl/Fabric paint.
This stuff works pretty good. I've used it once before and was pleased.
At first the seats are pretty stiff and rough, but once you start breaking them in it all smooths out.
Your truck will smell like spray paint for about a week but it eventually goes away lol.

--Make sure you vacuum your seats really well.

--Mask off anything you DONT want painted.

--In order to get the color thats ACTUALLY on the cap, you're going to need to paint the seats WHITE first.
I tested a small area w/o white and it came out a navy blue instead of being bright blue.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVEN COVERAGE. If you don't you will see it right through the blue.
Its helpful to do many light coats instead of one big heavy coat.

--To get the rear upper seat out you need to pop out the black tabs on the back of the seat. Plan on buying new tabs cuz those are almost impossible to remove w/o breaking them.
Once you have that flap down there are two bolts on each side holding the seat to brackets.

--Wait a few minutes until the white paint become tacky, then do the same process with the blue paint, several light coats for even coverage.

This stuff dries pretty quick. Give it about 10 minutes, check for any touch ups needed, then remove your tape!

Looks good... I used that stuff and dyed my entire interior black lol... you can hit the seats with a stiff brush between coats and it helps them aborb and keeps them softer

My luck, it would be summer time and Id sweat and it would stain my shirt blue :) lol but I'm curious to see how they have held up. Tucker they also have the neoprene colored covers.

I quite like this, but I also wonder about the lifetime of the paint.

I used to own some stuff that was painted, for whatever reason, much like the seats. The material it was made of, much like a nylon/cotton-twill composite, chipped, faded and bled like crazy after multiple uses and contact with the weather. Is this similar?

This stuff works great. I've used it before and it never really faded, never runs, you wont stain your clothes unless you sit on them before they dry lol. I think I did one touch up on my truck before this one, where I rub getting in and out of the seat, but it wasnt major. I'm just particular. I painted an on Rodeo interior black, seats, vinyl door trim, dash with this stuff. Dash prob not the best idea cuz its got so much grease and whatnot from hands/fingers, I guess maybe if you really cleaned it good. But the vinyl door trim help up really well along with the seats.

Not sure how well it would work on the neoprene seat covers...?

I love this stuff. Its a cheap way to liven your seats. I bought 2 cans of white and 2 cans of blue and had a little left over of each. Cost about $35 not including tape.
