They are CoverKing Neosupreme. I'm a little disappointed with the quality, but we''ll see how they hold up.

With the help of Adam (hopelesshumansrus) and my buddy Dietrich we got the lift on. I wouldn't call this a write up, as Nisstec did a pretty great writeup for both the front and rear and have it posted on their site.

Sway bar detached and bottom shock bolt out.

Front coils removed.
6373731221_2e0ba545eb_b.jpg

Both coils off the X. One of the lower shock bolts was a real treat. It took plenty of heat and impact gun to get it free.

Coils ready to be compressed.

New Nisstec spacer installed.

On to the rear.

Tires off and ready to start.

Leaf pack apart.

Leaf packs back together with AAL. New U-bolts and shims.

The Lift Kit showed up today. It looks Happy.

I'll try and do a write up as best I can on this. Hopelesshumansrus (Adam) said he would help and I have a buddy with a shop with a lift and coil spring compressor, so maybe pictures will be easy to get and steps documented.

I also added some Hellas 700FFs and got my fog lights installed.

I really enjoy the lift. It does firm up the front end quite a bit. I don't have the roll in the corners that I had pre-lift. I did the AAL in the rear it also really firmed up the rear end. I noticed the rear end really gives me better acceleration at take off, because my springs don't sag when I take off from a stop.

Over all I would say I'm very happy.
I sit almost as high as Hopelesshumansrus. Although he has 300lbs of additional gear on his X.

I do have a few negatives which I hope to remedy.
1. I have a lower Cam bolt seized. The alignment shop was able to get it within spec, but only after serious torque. I want to get in there an see if I can pb blast if for a week or so and this put is on the lift and heat the crud out of it and either A.) get it free and take it back to the shop and get it adjusted, or B.) get a new cam bolt in there and adjust. C.) hopefully not have to replace the LCA. It's in spec now but Barney (actual name) said I should be alright if I rotate my tires every oil change. Which I do, but I don't take kindly to having things " good enough" so it will have to be fixed.

2. I have some vibration in the rear end after the lift. I used the supplied shims in but still get vibration between 30 and 40 miles per hour. If I accelerate moderately through that range it isn't as bad, but if I have to cruise in that speed it is an issue. I will double check my pack this weekend. I'll put it up on stands and loosen the u-bolts and check the aal and the position leaves and the shims to make sure each side is measuring even. Any advice would be appreciated.

Very happy and would recommend this to others who have an after market bumper and want to do the 2" lift. The coil assembly wasn't really all that bad to mess with and the leaf packs was a breeze as well. The rear took half the time as the front end. I think this is because of all the bad things I had heard about DIY spring compressors so I was very careful and took my time on the front.

I may replace my stock OR shocks with 65K on them some new bilsteins here in the near future. I think some 5100 would take care of some of the recoil i'm getting with the stiffer spring.
