Is there a 12-step program for xterra addicts? I just agreed to sell my pro-4x to a friend, leaving me with terra, my first gen. It'll be gone in a week. I already find myself cruising Craigslist...and I latched on to a 2006 offroad...it's so pretty!

But there is no cure for what you have it only ends with you dumping tons of money in to building a truck that you will love and others will never understand why.

Hi, my name is Kurt and I also have an Xterra addiction, after seeing this thread my eyes are now open, my X doesn't look like the other Xterra's I see around, people stare at my X and look puzzled and don't know what to think, is my X a freak? What have I done? I'm confussed! What should I buy next, dual batteries or save for air lockers, my X is all I think and dream about, and when I think of the word "recovery" I only think of my 9000lb winch, pullpal and my maxtrax! I'm a real mess and need some real help.:concern:

Hello, my name is Greg. Steena is an '00 Gen1 that commands my attention. She requires modifications and refuses to remain stock dispite constant ridicule from neighbors with other SUV type vehicles. She's always challenging those soccermom crossover Beemers and Audis. Help me, I can seem to get her to stop laughing at them. She has now twisted my mind into asking a Benz SUV out on a weekend trail date.

Don't do it...gonna cause sibling rivalry!!!

I could drop $10k on my X so fast, and that still couldn't cover all the mods I want to do right now!

The wife won't let me blow "our" money on the X, so I have to do mods with what I make on the side biz. All profits for the last few months has to go back into materials and supplies to ramp up and improve / expand the products, but I want to do the TS so freaking bad!!!!!!!! (crying on the ground, feet in the air, kicking and screaming)

Common sense, logic and priorities must prevail! Be strong, don't be seduced by the dark side. Patience........... AHHHHH!

Just paid for me some plugs and wires..



My issue with this addictions is like any other drug.. Its starts out and doesnt cost me a lot..
And now Im on to the harder stuff.. Lockers and axel swaps ...



When does it ever end?

Or...now that Terrance is going going gone, I have to get the son something to take to college...can't spend mod money on it if it's not here!

...and I just pulled the trigger on an s2000. 2004 suzuka blue with 44k miles. Pick it up and pics on Monday.

The first step towards recognizing you have a problem is...ah, the hell with it! :D

I too am an addict.... I have tried rehab but I keep relapsing and have learned to just accept it... my wife has learned to accept it as well. Sorry guys I cannot give this addiction up! GL to you all

Hi. My name is Mel. I don't give a damn that I have an addiction, aside from the fact that my monthly bank statements remind me of how little money I have. Every time I earn an extra buck, it goes right into something for the X. My X rules my life. I enjoy the attention it gets when I drive around in it, and when people are amazed at its capabilities and encourage me to go farther and do more with it. I've tried to cut back, but I just cannot. And now, I found a shop to help with costs. That's it, I'm doomed...

Yes, I have an addiction, and yes, I cannot stop.
