I think he's like me, picking one thing at a time to be concrete so he can narrow down the choices.
lol.. This has been the hardest tire purchase that I have ever done.. KGB said do what you want.. and that could be deadly ;)
Does this mean you've bought/ordered tires? If so, pics!

Especially for you...we all know that "do what you want" is secret female code, unfortunately it's never successfully been translated...

Well due to a issue getting Goodyear Duratracs in.. We decided to do BFG KO's 285 75 16R's
These really were my top pick in a tire for the family cruiser but I sure would have licked a more aggressive look.
I have to say these look damn good... and the Nissan rims do not look too bad either..

Melt mod is needed and will be done this weekend.. There is not a ton of rub, but it is noticeable.

And KGB is very happy with her Xterra growing up...

In the end these will last for a long time and when I get it KM2s will be added so ;) Till then...
Next up 2 inch SL

Updated the 1st page...

Last weekend we added Calmini Shackles and Revtech lift blocks..

The good: Looks nice

The bad: The spacers makes the struts squeak like crazy.. We ordered new Blisteins struts with adjustable lift..

I hope to have this issue fixed asap...

I know Yodamonster loves the adjustable lift Bils on his '09 Fronty.

I feel like the blocks compress the stock strut way too much and is causing it issues...

Now all I need is a hour at 4wps to fix it lol..

Maybe if you can get one of their shirts you can sneak in and use their lift and spring compressor without anyone noticing.

^ Worth a shot lol. It does look good, but I'm sure you'll be happier with the new setup.

It's amazing how much different this thing looks with just a small lift, wheels and tires, and a bit of paint.

Thanks! Once the squawking is fixed mamma will be MUCH happier....

It is looking pretty awesome I have to say ;). Thanks all...

Funny thing....I was walking through the parking lot the other day after work and I looked up and thought "man....that's a good looking Xterra......oh wait...that's mine!" - and that...is awesome!

Sorry for the delays in posting Dave is on here much more than I am :)

I'm glad you're liking the new altitude. It looks great. I know you'll love it even more once it's nice and quiet again.

That's awesome seeing it and thinking how good it looks then realizing it's yours.

I have the parts to fix it.. Just haven't yet.. What you have isn't like what we installed. Trust me.. I made sure

The spacers we are running go between the spring and the strut.. It made us removed the bushing to install which is why it squeaks. The spring hits metal.. You have a upper spacer... Very easy to install and shouldn't require much to do so..

The rear shackles are very easy to install too ;). Just wait Mac.. Your going to freak

Agreed, from what I understand of what you got Mac, you and I could install it in a couple of hours in my driveway...the kit drb used is much more difficult...drb, does the setup that you used cause coil bucket contact under extreme flex?

I havent flexed it out... ITs a revtech spacer.. I only installed it because I basicly got it for free... Or else I would have just done what we ended up buying.. Bilstein 5100s

Suddenly clarity strikes me, I get it! I'm soooo ready to freak!

/thread jack, back to Francine. What's next? Is the weather going to cooperate to wheel her this weekend?

They have a wheeling trip planned with SExterra that depends on the weather and when they get rain they get a lot of it.

The place we planned to go has a reputation for taking bites out of doors and other important things when it rains. Very tight trails with plenty of step, rutted and rocky hills.
