if I could get a clean pic of the mounting method, I'd bet that I could get one made for WAY less than $180, and as far as powder coating, I wouldn't, I'd get it soda blasted clean and then bedline it so that any contact points have rubberish stuff against my stock paint instead....I like the gobi but, I'm too tight to get it...if they were giving a better pricing I might be in for one...

There is rubberish double sided tape at any contact point with the paint, but as far as the mounting method, do a quick google search and you can find the installation instructions.

It has been two weeks with no word from Gobi. I understand they are busy and a smaller company and by no means am I trying to bash then on a public forum. I have called everyday and I can't get ahold of anyone

All in all this is something that, while exciting, is not pressing. It'd be awesome if they'd call you back and it's even more important that they follow through with customer service if an order gets placed. But, it'll still be awesome if this gets off the ground.
