NOTE: I do not have pictures of the mud flaps or nerf bars. They are what come stock for the factory.

Mud Flaps (front and rear) - $40
Front Bumper Cap - $150
Plastic piece that goes underneath bumper cap (see pictures) - $50

The problem is that it's only worth what someone is willing to pay. And $7500 for a clean stock truck is one thing. But I know I wouldn't pay that much for one that has been modded that extensively. Well...maybe I would for THAT truck because its been around so long and I know its well built. But a stranger who's not familiar with the truck isn't going to know that. In turn, that drives the value down. In general, modding vehicles drives the value down unless you can get someone who wants that EXACT truck w/ those EXACT mods and understands the cost.

No doubt. I'm not looking to sell to Aunt Karen or anything like that. I really don't think it will sell at all to be honest. I'm just bored already and use this thing as a daily driver so looking to see if that "right person" happens to be looking at the moment. I know highly modified vehicles very well (I have a couple others) and believe me I know that mods are not something you will ever get back. Just wondering why this forum seems to feel Xterra's are not worth much. It's odd to me coming from the Jeep community where it is the opposite. I see people trying to sell stock xterra's with twice the miles for about the same price in my local CL.

I will be honest, I paid $7K for this and would let it go for $6,500 just because I'm bored. Seeing people say it's worth $2,500 is just plain crazy to me though. All Great parts, very low mileage. Obviously not trying to sell it here as everyone here already has what they want.

Less than $6,500 I will definitely keep it and continue to drive it daily as a mall crawler :)

Sorry if I ruffled feathers with my post, was not intentional.

No worries.

FWIW, I'm not quite sure why Heeps seem to be gold plated or something. Its like a magical unicorn that is always increasing in value. Makes no sense to me, but whatever.

Also, if you're bored w/ a truck that modded, you need harder wheeling. heh. I'd be pushing that thing as hard as I could.

Winner winner chicken dinner.... lol

I just have no time for wheeling. Weekends are crazy busy. So your question is the exact reason I will sell if I find the right buyer. I'm not using it for what it was built to do. As I said, I really doubt it will sell but hopefully I can find time to enjoy it to it's potential if not.

That thing gets around the block! I guess people buy this rig for it to be a DD but soon realize it's not optimal and sell it lol.

$6500 is a damn steal. I love my truck to death and everything it came with (supercharged, leather, sunroof, few suspension goodies, and mega clean), BUT I'd consider selling it or hell, even trading it for that thing. I've always been a sucker for putting my own stamp on something though, and that's why I love my truck.

Don't sweat it Angel - someone will come along who wants a swapped rig and 7k is not a bad price. It would cost way more to take a stock rig and mod it. It's just a niche market, so it might take some time. I respectfully disagree that a modded truck is worth less than stock...but I think we can all agree you never get your money out of mods when you sell

Thanks Guys. Appreciate it. Honestly this is one of those "everything is for sale for the right price" kinda deals. I will sell the shirt off my back if someone wanted to pay me what I paid for it, lol.

My Guess is that I will have this for a long time and I am perfectly fine with that. Just testing the waters to see if someone else who would use it more comes along.

He wants too much. People can't seem to grasp that you are not going to recoup the costs of adding upgrades. It's better to part out and sell stock or near stock.

Totally disagree. If he were trying to recoup cost of mods (theoretically, since he bought it this way) he would be asking like 15k or more. SAS and gearing alone cost more than asking. 7500 is a pretty reasonable starting point for an asking price, I think. As I have said, we all understand you don't get mod dollars out, or even close. Doesn't make the truck worthless though, either. I've seen this rig in person. It's bad arse.

That said, if you're not interested in the vehicle, what purpose does saying he's asking too much serve, other than making it harder for him to sell it? Total Truck Block...;-)

Seems a hair high for needing new spindles.

Also, we can't use those without a transfer case swap. PS-Drop.

Am I wrong in thinking you should want to change our your t-case when doing a swap? I kinda figured that had to happen.
I could be wrong. I know about Titan Swaping. I just do my check every so often on CL and noticed those today.

Well, if I knew it was his truck I wouldn't have said it, this is the craigs list thread and we talk about deals and stuff all the time. That's why I follow it. I don't think my opinion would make any difference to him, to others, or really outside of me. I really don't see the point in carrying on the discussion with me. I already apologized for having an opinion. It just makes me uncomfortable now. Is it too much to be left alone? :-/

This.

My truck is worth MAYBE $2500 on resale. And I'm okay with that. Because I don't want to sell it.
Well.. You should be able to get more than that.. I sold mine for 3500 and I don't have the armor and locker that you have.. Oh and mine had a salvaged title.. But it's destined to be a trail truck anyway, so I don't doubt it'll be beaten like a red headed step child now..

So let me know when you sell yours for 2500, I'll be interested.

Eh, d60 rears are cheap. Sterling are the better 1-ton rear and you can pick up a nice example for 2-30. They go for nowhere near what front axles do.

Good to know, I am completely new to actually looking at axles. I just kinda stumbled on them while sourcing titan parts.

Kinda getting to understand them now though.
