That does suck. In my case, it's probably that I left something on. Since she spends long stretches parked, I figured it wouldn't be a bad thing to have anyways.I have a short circuit somewhere in my dome lights. Can't keep fuses. It sucks.
Isn't that the truth!!!

Like ufck it is.Peanut butter / banana / jelly sammich.
Its funny. I do real trees though. Never liked having a fake oneIsn't that the truth!!!
I always did a real tree until the GF and I bought a house. She claimed she was allergic. I didn't believe her (she claims to be allergic to everything!) Bought a real tree, set it up. 5 minutes later, her eyes were puffy and she was having trouble breathing. Whoops. We used to do real trees, but they are getting so expensive for a good noble fir. We got a good deal on a fake one years ago, and never looked back. My sentimental side favors real trees. But my practical side always seems to win when it comes to wasteful spending.
I want a White Russian.

Anybody heard of this?
Yeah, looks just like a lokka, but I'm OK with that. Might be easier to get as well.Haven't seen that brand but looks to be same thing as a lokka.
For some reason I always thought of Lokka as a front diff only thing since people always talk about turning. From all the negatives I’ve read, it seems like having it in the rear would eliminate all of them.Haven't seen that brand but looks to be same thing as a lokka.
I would not put a lunchbox locker in a C200.Yeah, looks just like a lokka, but I'm OK with that. Might be easier to get as well.
Why not? I've seen them run in lots of smaller rear axles with great success.I would not put a lunchbox locker in a C200.
Is this complaining about the extra space or bragging about how much easier it was to give out hand jobs?

Which Gen uses the c200 again? Is that front or rear?I would not put a lunchbox locker in a C200.
2nd Gen Rear on many trim levels..Which Gen uses the c200 again? Is that front or rear?

My fat ass thought that was a red bull truck
Same!My fat ass thought that was a red bull truck
nice
Yeah. And I've seen lots of C200 failures. I think the size of the axle is too small for the weight of the truck. shiat, the 226 is still too small. A D35 works fine on an XJ because it's small and unibody. And I don't have any issues with lunchbox lockers. I think the rear is a good place for them if you don't want to spend money on a selectable. But. I just feel that the C200 doesn't get better when subjected to locking stresses. Especially on the street if you screw up and try to goose it through a tight corner. Why not? I've seen them run in lots of smaller rear axles with great success.
I laugh about it every year. So does sheWould it be okay if I laughed at this in a non malicious way?
If a lunchbox is set up right, it shouldn't be locked in that situation. Plus having the locker generally means you don't need to be as aggressive on a given obstacle. I've wheeled with Jay and I don't think he'd have any trouble with his wheeling style.Yeah. And I've seen lots of C200 failures. That was my thought/hope as well. I’m not trying to climb big rocks or drop off anything steep. I can see needing it on moderate climbs on dirt where terrain was uneven (like that little thing you went up backwards on at Flagpole) or getting out of mud.If a lunchbox is set up right, it shouldn't be locked in that situation. I've heard of many more D35 failures than C200K failures, but I agree they are under sized for the weight of an Xterra, offroad.
The one thing to remember with one in the rear is that you have to coast around tight turns. You can accelerate gently on sweeping turns, but can't hammer down. Tight turns need to be full coast. That was my thought/hope as well. I’m not trying to climb big rocks or drop off anything steep. Obviously I’d prefer a selectable locker, but price vs how much I’d use it (need it) is a little steep.
And all the negatives I’ve heard about Lokka and similar concern steering and it being in the front.
None of the ones I set up or have been around had this issue. The one thing to remember with one in the rear is that you have to coast around tight turns. You can accelerate gently on sweeping turns, but can't hammer down. Tight turns need to be full coast.
