Yup. We had a GE washer die on us in 2019. Brand new in 2016, pump died. Looked up part number, it had been discontinued and replaced by another pump. Look up that part number, discontinued and replaced with another part. Looked up the third part number, discontinued. Found 1 of the 3 parts on ebay, they wanted $600 for it, plus shipping. Went and bought a rebuilt Kenmore for $400 that is built way better, and still has parts available.

I take a sharpie, write date & time of install. 3-6 years later.. great to know age of death. Same with LED lights. still have a Deep Freezer from 1980's era. still running like a champ! Power outages. I plug into Generator.
Current Fridge. 3 years, and plastic shelfs cracking. Door seal, fails. Modern technology of Buy & Toss.

Yeah, my 3 y/o Simplicity with 20hr on it just wasted the power deck height adjustment 3/4 of the way through my acre yard. Had to hop on the 20 y/o 500hr Snapper to finish it.

I was getting the eldest daughter ready to weedeat this evening and looked over and the neighbor's garage was on fire. We booked it over there and told them and helped get it put out. Turns out their grill had been on and flared up. Burned up their fence, melted the soffit and siding on the building, melted the brake hoses and one tire on their daughter's 4 wheeler. I helped rake leaves and move stuff while the neighbor was manning the garden hose.
We got it out and with fairly minor damage. Mainly the grill and the old wooden fence were total losses.
That was some excitement for the evening.
