I just heard knocking on a wall that would require someone to be in my garage. It was 3 rapid knocks. The dogs did not react to it and I'm not drunk.

I checked and nothing was there. Daughter #1 has been saying the house is haunted for a few years now. Our old dog Thor would wake up in the middle of the night once in awhile and would lay at the foot of our bed staring at the door to our bedroom. He would growl like he was ready to attack something for no reason at all. Maybe it is a ghost.

Went out with friend Bc we have the same bday. His best friend from childhood came into town. Dude was alright for the first part of the night. Then he got hammered drunk and when he got intolerable I went outside with friends gf and waited for them to finish beers.

Dude so straight up slapped me open hand as he walked past. Immediately I got up ready to frack him up. Friend stopped me, being pretty sober compared to the group I said f you your friend I’m out. This was of course after trying to catch up to his friend for two blocks Bc I was in fight mode.

Friend called me and apologized profusely. Not gonna lie, pretty pissed about this. When you’re around 30, you should be able to handle your liquor. I told my friend I’m not mad at him at all but as long as his boy is around, I’ll be mia.

So the question is should I have beat the shiat out of dude or was correct in just walking away? Right now I’m still in fight mode and very pissed.

you had every right to give him a strong right or left right to the jaw but a complete pavement beat down would be a bite much. walking away is sometimes the best option depending on where you are too. last place you wanna start a fight is in front of a crowded bar that may not have that boys will be boys vibe. hell i got into a small fist fight with one of my best friends a few years back because he and his girl would would always end up having some sort of fight everytime we would go out and really kill the mood. one night he got way to drunk and disorderly he started to flip on me for trying to calm him down, so i just emptied a bottle of pent up rage i had and gave him a good left hook, well i guess he was too drunk to feel that and returned on back, it barly caught me, and i finished it will a right and he went down. now 10 minutes goes by and we are laughing about it while having smoke and everyone is just like "wait... didnt those two just get into a fight?" the power of friendship is a wonderful thing.
