To answer your question... They were swapped out simply because I needed new ball joints and replaced everything else.

sounds great bro i cant wait to install these. i read that the flex isn't as great as others, but honestly, i plan to do a solid axle swap later on in sabrinas life, so im just getting my rims and tires for the SAS and i can stuff 20s and 35s under 5 inches of lift (probably will go 33s for the moment tho)

I believe the limited flex complaints were about the AAL when doing the full Rancho kit. I never heard anything bad about the front.
oh really? i saw somewhere where it said that the ucas only offer 2.5 inches and that for some reason they dont give any better flex than stock but i could have been reading about the kit as a whole. anyone wanna confirm? im getting these reguardless, dont get your hopes up

hahahaha nice! love the red! ill just sand them down and spray a fresh coat of red on them once they get here, no big deal! im super excited. are there any how tos on here to install them, and the bushings are still in there right? just making sure ive covered all my bases!

Yes the bushings are there. I'd check them to be sure they're up to snuff although they looked ok to me.
As far as a how to...they actually only fit 1 way. Now if you replace the bushings, they and the cam bolts are the things that have to go in a specific way. Everything else lines up. BUT... there might be a how to somewhere, the install instructions came with the new UCA's I installed.
