I offered $150, he said no. Shot back a few days later that he would take $200. Then he asked about my profile pic being on Angel's Landing and was I a hiker. We talked it up for over a hour about different parks and trails around the US. I got it for the $150. Screenshot_20230611_175010_Facebook.jpgMan, I'm impressed how much more solid this stainless model is! Now to sell the other Performer.

Haven't had to yet. Came from PO freshly filled ~2 years ago.

Guess we'll see when it happens.
He told me he got an adaptor
from Amazon and fills them himself from a larger tank.

I have an adapter to fill lantern sized bottles back up. I'll have to find one to fit this one, I guess, when it's out.

You could try to see if you have an industrial supplier for filling those, they tend to not care as much as the monkeys trained to just do the 20lbs as they fill random tank sizes all the time.
There's a "good ole boy" who runs a gas co about 20min rural from here, I figured I'd try him first..

Unloaded and set up this morning. Still have some rearranging and weedeating to do but I noticed what I already suspected.. The new, older, Performer is about 4" shorter than the plastic topped 2014 model.20230612_082102.jpg20230612_082055.jpg

The Weber I found beside the road has the frame for the "Sidekick" table. I just put the oldest on task of designing a replacement top for it.

I want it to have "Roadside GRILL" carved/routed/chiseled into it and be coated so it's protected. I think it'll be a nice project for her.

I also gave it a 5min sit in the big smoker rolling pecan and hickory at the beginning, just for smoke.

A Chargriller model 2121. Just an open face 29.5" wide with an adj height coal tray. It's got some high quality cast grates that cook so good for the price point.

I've been looking for a deeper pit style grill to play with. I've been looking at the cheap box grills from mallmart with the upper vents instead of a chimney so I can do offset or full pit style.

This one works perfect for both those styles. I actually love it and figure it's worth the 159 or 69 Lowes hardware store wants but I found this one for 25$ on marketplace and put a warming grate in it for 20$..

I have to give props to another great spice Co. TX Pepper Jelly. I've tried the bird bath, several rib candies and Craig's sauce and all are top of the line.

So I made my take on a Hawaiian burger.

Super Dave's bun, mixed lettuce n spinach, Sausage/beef patty w/ spices n onion, peppered ham slice, Colby pepper jack cheese and pinyaps. They were about 3/4s of a lb, precook.20230710_202939.jpg20230710_203504.jpg

Holy COW! Literally. I wanna see the cooker and watch them get it in and out!
My brain thought about this thing after I read it for a bit. You'd of course need a tractor or similar machine to move it but I'm bettin it gets put on a spit the way it's wrapped and tied and cooked over a fire..

So.. with a fence even! Geez
