Alright everyone the day after Christmas, while driving to work the thermostat on the X crapped out, causing all the engine coolant to leak out and thus frying the engine/warping the head. Some of you remember that the engine on my X was recently replaced (March 2011), but unfourtanetly this engine was a month past its warranty. After some pondering i decided to let go of the X it honestly was the best decision. I had plans to trade the X in fr a Subaru WRX in April of 2012 so ive decided to buy a cheap 07 Scion TC for now untill this summer well ill have money saved up for a Subaru.

BTW i will be putting for sale my 2in BL / Roof Basket/ Steelies with the BFG AT on them (<6000 miles).

Nah i sold the X to Nissan for $2500 and bought the TC for $7k so i owe $5k on it the TC now. Thats why it was cheap lol it only has 84k on it and it kinda fun to drive.

Sorry to hear Ron. I really loved your X :(

Glad to hear you are working your way to a Subie WRX though. That IS without a doubt the only car I would ever buy... and get it as close to the WRC rally car as I could :D

You are a valuable asset to the X community and you are always welcomed here.

That sucks. But, I guarantee you'll love a WRX. Just as long as you leave it alone. The transmission can't handle much more than stock power before the sychros destroy themselves. Unless you get an STi. The 6-speeds in those are bombproof.

I couldn't do a car again unless it was back to a muscle car. Shoot, I can't imagine driving anything else but the X right now. If mine were to be wrecked today I'd be buying another one for sure. *knock on wood*

Ditto what Mac said above, + on the "Xterra Alumni" part. Every once in a while you get a vehicle that's just flat-out not-quite-right. Sounds like the best thing was to move on for now...

Don't forget all of us here in X land (sniff!) and enjoy the better gas mileage that you MUST be getting with the new car! LOL
