Well I was nominated or challenged or whatever to dump water on my head for ALS awareness. I thought it would be way more fun to add a little twist to the concept...OK... here is my video:

My Nominations/Challenges:

My wife...because she said my video was stupid

XterraNation...because all of our trucks need a bucket of water dumped on it from time to time :kewl:

I am just waiting for someone to take their muddy Xterra and dump ice water on it and make a video out of it. That was my other idea, but it was dark outside

Sooo, I imagine our responses to this should be videos of us throwing buckets of water on our rigs and challenging other people to do the same. Interesting . . .

I have been nominated...havent decided what I am going to do. My 7 year old daughter was nominated and I replied that I will allow her to do it when she knows what ALS is and why she is doing it. People get too caught up in trends and lose the meaning.

Truth! I asked a few of my friends if they knew what Lou Gehrig's disease was. They thought it was just mental retardation.

Agree with FFox. This ice bucket thing is to build awareness. Do some research, tell her the facts. There are people afflicted with this and other conditions that face a much different life than those w/o these ailments. Not having this, or any disease is a blessing, something to be grateful for. Make here aware that not everyone is so lucky. And those that are can help those that aren't and make a difference.
